  • mute all audio then select pieces for sound

Hi guys, getting to grips with this awesome software, just brilliant! Anyway, having a n00b problem. I've muted the audio track in the AV track itself. I then want to allow selected clips to be un-muted, so to speak, can someone help here? I can't see a way to do it once I've turned off the main track for audio...

    Cheers

    leave the track enabled

to mute a clips audio, click the video section of the clip and push 1 on keyboard

to mute video and audio of a clip, push 2 on keyboard

Hi, tried this still getting sound :S I press 1 and I can see a 1 come up next to the sound in VA.

Both my video and audio are in the VA track.

sorry, I gave you my keyboard shortcut by mistake

in order to see your keyboard shortcut, right click the clip and find "enable only this"

it should show you what key is mapped to it, if not, you can map one in customize section

also, now that you see a little1 at the left of track, right click it and click clear all tracks

Sorry I'm just not getting this at all. If I enable this only...then enable the sound button it does it for all clips...if I choose a channel nothing happens...I only am able to togle the thing for all or nothing...I must be very thick...if you have the time can you be more explicit with a step by step...I'm very stupid :S

Found something that works for me. Just dropped that clip into AV2 and sorted it from there! Not sure if that's "protocol" but it works.

This software is ACE. Just loving it.
