  • Burn to Disc Question

    1. How does one create a shortcut for the writing to disc feature without opening Edius > Tools > Disc Burner? Under program files the application opens up disc creator but not the write to disc.
    Thanks,
    Ara

      there are 3 ways

      1. install ImgBurn (free) and create a desktop shortcut

      2. install Nero Burning Rom (not free) and create a desktop shortcut

      3. Uninstall EDIUS6 and install EDIUS5, then create a shortcut to the Burn to Disk tool, can burn BD or DVD while EDIUS is closed

You can create a shortcut to dvdcreator.exe in the Grassvalley->EDIUS 6 folder.
This will open it op when EDIUS is closed.
Maybe you can try and see if it works for you?

Well you can use it this way with EDIUS open.
IF you choose BD burner from the menu.
After selecting the DVD image , the media will automatically go to DVD.
In stand-alone mode this does not seem to be possible at the moment.

For anything already build the free Img-burn is very good.
