  • Selecting a single audio channel

    Hi all,
I have Edius 5.51 (but noticed the same problem in Edius 6 demo).

When I insert a clip with audio, if I select a single audio channel (e.g., properties - audio info - channel 1) the channel 1 volume decreases.

For example, let's say I see that the Channel 1 volume is 8 out 10 and Channel 2 is 3 out 10. Then, when I select properties - audio info - channel 1, I get Channel 1 with a volume 5 out 10 and Channel 2 with a volume 5 out 10. Is this normal? It should be both 8 out 10 (the original Channel 1)

I'd just like to "copy" what is in the first channel of the clip to its second channel.
    Any suggestion?

    Thank you

in E5 project settings, set to EDIUS3 compatible panning mode, also modify any existing preset to reflect that

works perfect here when using EDIUS 5.51

this option no longer works in EDIUS6

in any case, simply select the clip and click the normalize tool and change value until the result is what you need, you can keep doing this until it is correct

lets say you type -12 and it is to slow, type -10, is still too low, type -8 and so on
