Isn't there a PCIe version of SP that has SDI as well? Not 100% sure, I think it's for Europe only. That's a much better option as you don't have to go the server motherboard route...

A lot of us use the Supermicro X6DA8 series - which is about 3 years old, but I see still available (at a knock-down price) from dabs.com. Otherwise check out the latest Supermicro server boards.
Nice weather here too ... for a change!

I have just set up an SP system using a TYAN S2696(A2NRF) with dual Xeon 5150's that is working well other than for the documented Edius 4.51 problems.
        System 1 - SP with Edius Broadcast 4.54 , 2x DUAL 2.66 Xeon CPU's, Tyan 2696, 2gig RAM, Sapphire 1950PRO 2

        System 2 - RT2 MAX with Edius Pro 4.54, 2x Xeon 2.4ghz CPU's, 512meg RAM, Compaq

Thanks for this, im gona take a look at this.
I am allso looking at intels SE7520BD2V and the SE7525GP2 motherboards those are the one´s a one dealer over here can order for me, and if they work it will be the best way for me.
This has been a big prob for me to find something here in Iceland, and when i find some and order it, it will take some time for me to get it over here.
The bigest problem is to find the right one.
