  • Can´t capture ( preset mess )

    Hi I am trying to capture in edius 6.03 a dv 16:9 50 i with firewire...both from bay and backside of the nx..i have windows 7 64 bits and yes I have installed the legacy driver...but nothing works..I try to capture froma a hv20(pal) but it doesn´t work..pls help
    A computer with a lot of stuff in it :)

    does your NX have a firewire connector? If so, it will work

      Yes it has a firewire connector, but it doesn´t seem to work

        Did you create a device preset?
        If not look at the clip 4 after clicking on the "EDIUS 6 new features" in my signature.

          Yes I did create a device preset..but it seems that only NX-bay shows up in the preset window..not the card itself..it is internal connected and have always worked without any problem

            You're not trying to capture HDV, correct?

              No, I am trying to capture dv(wide) from hv 20

                in Input Hardwate Format settings, which options do you see in the Interface dropdown? see exanmple of the dropdown


                can we see a screenshot of the completed settings

                example


                also, make sure camera output is set to "DV" and not Auto and not HDV

                  Hi I have theese settings, I can´t choose anything more..and yes camera i set to dv output..the bay lamp is lit up..but in edius it reverts to 4x3 and no capture possible

                      Hmm seems the bay firewire doesn´t work anymore..I got it to work with generic OHCI and the backside firwire on the NX
