audio playback

Thanks all I have fixed the problem alone the lines of plugs in the wrong prots and settings wrong. Yes I feel like an idiot but thanks everyone for replying.

I have a NX card.

That happened to me several times.

I run the audio from NX card audio out to line in of my sound card so i can hear the audio on my computer speakers.
When line in is muted on volume control panel, I dont hear anything.

If you have a similar setup, make sure line in is not muted.

Just a thought, depending on your setup.

The sliders for the volume are all the way up, and its not muted.

And yes I am using GV hardware, DVStorm2 on edius 3.5pro.

Audio Playback

Can anyone tell me why I would not be hearing audio? I can see the levels and there is audio their, the tracks aren't muted, and yet I can't hear any audio at all on any clips, not even tone.

This happens randomly on a regular basis. Most of the time I need to restart the computer and the audio is back. Occasionally the volume sliders (on the toolbar, mine is on the bottom right) go down to 0 for no reason at all or it could be muted. Let me know if this helps.
