  • the cursor is still jumping

    Since 6.03 i have the problem that sometimes when i drag the cursor from the middle of the project to the beginning and press play, the cursor jumps a few seconds forwards. i wrote that a few days ago. i thougtht my pc is not powerful enough. quad core 2,8 ghz 4 gig ram and ati 512 mb

    so i bought 4 more gig of ram. a nvidia gtx 470 and 2 wd black hds

    and i tell you nnnoooo difference at all.

    There is definitely a problem with this, but GV believe it's imagined by users as they can't reproduce it.

    Sorry, its a local bug for some of us, we have to live with it.

      I have replicated the issue but with MPEG 2 PS files only at the moment. I'm still testing to pass up to Japan.

        my next try...

        is to delete e6.03 and the canopus folder inside windows... maybe nero in a special version is the bug producer i have an older nero 8 version??!

          No Nero here (ImgBurn) I still have the issue, although not constant.
          E5.51 + E6.05 / NX HD / Win7 x64 / intel X3366 / 9800 GTX+

            I just experienced a new version of this issue, at 0.5 second timeline focus, the cursor remained stationary whilst playback was running...

            its getting spooky...

              I've seen that happen, just once and I could scarcely believe my eyes...restarted timeline and it went ok, then I wondered if I had been daydreaming.

              BTW, I haven't (yet) experienced any cursor jump problem.

                Hey Claire,

                mmmm, spooky indeed, the cursor jump only happens to me if I drag the cursor to a start point with the mouse, then not always, and only on certain focus settings - if I use the keyboard to move to a play start position, it's always fine.
