  • Is it possible to define several work area in Timeline?

    Hi
Would you please help me? Can I define some IN and OUT points in Timeline and export them in a same time? I heard this feature is available in Sony Vegas but I am not sure about Edius.
I really appreciate any help in advance.

many ways, I will number from easiest to slowest

    1. simplest is copy paste selected clips, can be pasted to same timeline or any new timeline in a new sequence, I often use 10 or more sequences in the same project

    2. add to bin as sequence between in and out, and then drag to timeline anywhere

    3. print to file, Canopus HQ, and then drag to timeline anywhere

You can define different export areas for a later batch export!
These sections can be changed manually later!

      1. Just mark IN & OUT,
      2. start as usually "Print To File"
      3. now set up your export parameters
      4. tick "Export between IN & OUT" box
      5. DON'T click 'OK', use "Add To Batch List"

The job will be generated in batch list!

When you are ready to define all of your exports as I described above you are ready to open the batch list & make changes
or create new entrys manually or just export some jobs or simply all of them!

I forgot to say, all jobs in batch list will be saved in your project & will be still
present after reopening your project & also after exporting all of your jobs!
Jobs can be reactivated & modified all the time!
So you will be able to use these pre-defined jobs to export more than one area!
If you would like to export to another codec, just change the export module in
        batch list!
