  • Multicam judders with 5 cameras

I'm just getting used to multicam, and it does take some getting used to! It's fine with only 4 cameras, but with 5, I get a slight juddering on picture and sound and also the camera doesn't switch from one to the other. Do you think that this could just be a lack of resources from my system hardware. I have 1gb of ram and a 3.06 processor (or something similar!)

You can increase the number of skipped frames at playback settings...this will reduce the cpu load...it might help you...

1GB of RAM and a Pentium 4 3.06...I wouldn't expect exceptional speed from that machine :)

I can do 2 streams easily here with that same type of machine, but 2GB RAM.

But do try what Aristotelis said, it should help a bit.

OK thanks, I'll give that a try, that's something I would never have thought of!
