Import FCP XML with Speed change

Running Edius 5.51

When I import a project via FCP XML, clips that have had their speed property changed in the original FCP project come in with incorrect IN/OUT points.

Is there a workaround and/or do later versions of Edius fix this issue?

Edius only supports basic feature of XML- I don't think speed change is one of them.
It's also badly documented or not documented at all.
