I have a ts folder that I want to import it seems to hang when I import from the disc so I copied the folder to the desktop how do I have the source browser, browse to it?

if its on desktop, you don't need source browser

To add folders to the Source Browser, go to:
Settings> System Settings> Importer/Exporter> Removable Media
