    Hi ,
    can Edius 6 render reverse?,

  • #2
you mean play a clip backwards? if so, no need to render, it is realtime by adding -100 speed (Alt+E)

Right-click on the clip, select Time Effect, then Speed (the default shortcut is Alt-E as noted above). There you can change the playback speed. A negative value plays the clip in reverse; -50 would play the clip backwards at half speed, -100 plays it backwards at normal speed.

The Speed dialog box (Alt E) now has forward, backward check boxes.

BTW... it is just me or now in Edius 6 the speed change is not so good as it was in previous versions, i mean, (lockin in my external HD monitor) when i change the speed of some clip it looks "stroby"... sorry i am not sure about how to explain the effect (please excuse my latin english) i try to say that it looks not like "super slow" or "matrix" effects, it looks like a frema by frame effect... anyone understand what i mean or have seen any similar between versions?

                  I understand

this can be changed by ticking or unticking various options in the Alt+E section
