Where exactly to the plugins get installed?
I'm trying to ADD the output plugin in LW so I can have a display
option to choose in LW. Same for Mirage.
    I looked in C:\programs\Canopus\Videooutplugins
Does anyone know the file names? Maybe I could do a search for them

Yes the plug-in for Lightwave is not exactly over-documented! With LW 9 the installer creates a file in the LW plug-ins directory "...\Plugins\Canopus\Canopus VideoOut.p" Then you have to run LW layout and add this plug-in to the list. It will appear in the hierarchy under "Frame Buffer". To actually use it select "Render Globals" and change the "Render Display" setting from "Image Viewer" to "Canopus VideoOut".

Hope this makes sense - I can post screen shots if you have problems.

Don't know the answer to that. With AfterEffects CS2 you don't appear to have to do anything - it just works. With Photoshop CS2 you have to move a file to the plug-ins directory, as per the readme file. Otherwise I'm afraid you are on your own.

I did manage to get the Mirage preview working, but it only supports 1 layer
preview at a time and not the whole comp!
You can merge all layers and then see the whole comp but thats a drag whe you have animation layers to view and a time consuming work around.

I appreciate your difficulty, but I am not a Mirage user myself. I think just a few more words from GV about what these plug-ins do (or do not do) would not be out of place.

I can't get the plug-in. Do you (or someone else) mind to e-mail it to me at [email protected]? There was a post earlier explaining things about it (for Photoshop) and I can't find this either :-]

              Thank you,

              Luby
