I think this question may be for Steve or Pat.
Having read that 6.03 and it's brilliant AVC encoder had been the result of the update. Does it still use QT to decode H.264/MP4/AVC etc.
The reason I ask, is that I could do without QT on my main system. If Edius 6.03 does not need it to decode H.264 based stuff.
Even though I have just posted a similar QT question with regard to stills. I am not trying to start a QT witch hunt. Although I cant imagine that it would only be me and Anton who would be happy to see the back of it :)
