    Question

    Strangest thing. When I want to replace a clip on a single track edit with a transition, the length of the clip in front and back gets reduced by some random number of frames.

    Any ideas why this is happening. Ripple mode is off, synch is on and insert is on. I have been with Edius since version 1 and I have never seen this before.

    Sounds like you have "extend clip when applying transition" checked.
