  • Quicktime Exporter Crash With Edius 6.03

    HĂ© everybody,

Just updated my system to Edius 6.03 (from 6.01)
But unfourtunatly everytime I want to export to quicktime Edius dies without any message what so ever.

I've tried the AVCHD codec but it keeps telling me it's "not implemented"
Don't know if that has any particular reason. I don't usually use it. Quicktime
    is good for me.

Does anybody have an idea how to fix it?

    Kind regards,
    Remco

I would start by uninstalling anything Quicktime and apple in Add/remove programs

then download latest QT and install, then reboot

I'm Sorry for the late response.

        I've tried both suggestions.
        Un/reinstalled everything Quicktime.
And freed up about 10GB on install disc.

This particular project was only 36secs long.
Edius still crashes on other projects aswell.

        Any more suggestions?

        Thanx

I have just asked because EDIUS creates an intermerdiate file to feed Quicktime with in some cases.
Will EDIUS stop working after a specific time range or percentage in process bar?
If so, try to check how much free space is available a short time before it crashes?
Has the Windows event viewer logged some EDIUS or space related error messages?
