HDV Export to Tape

As a new Edius user I had some problems outputting my HDV to a Mini HDV tape on my A1U. Here is what I Found out:
1: TS Writer will NOT run correctly while Edius 4.51c is running.
2: TS Writer WILL run as a standalone application.
3: TS WRiter does not seem to like M2t files NOT made by a Canopus codec
( not positive about this)
Here is what I do:
1: Generate a M2t file using Procoder or speed encoder.
2; close Edius
3: Run CMTSWRITER.EXE

Follow the manual from, there. Works like a charm.

guys you have no idea how this forum specially this thread has saved me!
yesterday I have hdv event to show in a big dataton screen... it was a wedding trailer that i shot in Bali (nicest place to have wedding reception on earth ;)
the audiences were government officers & other famous persons in my city.
we have to play it in hdv player so i have to print it to tape...
I NEVER have problem print to tape with edius..DV..but not this time ..HDV gosh! i tried to print to tape in almost 8 hours and change vcr from GV-HD700 to HC3 even to my FX1..no hope!...the show is 7pm and at 4pm i almost give up!..
suddenly i remember my last saviour.."the edius forum" the most helpfull editors on earth!..in only 5 minutes..walah!! i read this thread..it save my ***..
i'm sure i will change my job if i failed the show that night ;D
