With HDV I work Project preset 1440x1080 50i (PAL) (HDStormBay) and than I export 1920x1080 24p by TMPGEnc Movie Plug-in MPEG-2 for EDIUS.I obtain a very good video file!

If upscaling from HDV to 1920X1080, is it better to change your project settings to 1920 and export to mpg, or is it better to export from a 1440 project to Canopus Lossless and then upconvert to 1920 in TMPGenc5. Or is there no difference?
