hi all

i have a proplem that when i want to burne dvd i have error to creat dvd
the proplem DvD Creator ( failed to encode )

the material on time line its 2:28 hr
i have edius 5.00
win 7 64bit
sd pal 25p



please help

Change your project preset to an interlaced setting.

sorry about the quistion
but how we can do it interlaced setting
i try to print to file and import back to another sequence in avi and empg
but its the same

If you are editing in Progressive, you will need to change to interlace mode.
Look at this next panel and make you changes. The red circle and the red dot is where you get the panel to open.

i intered to project setting bur i dont have option to change ( prograssive to upper .... )
if you have another way to match this option

These are Edius 5.51 settings.
If you are starting a project for DVD, the left is the settings to start out with.

The right side of the screen is if you are already editing in a progressive environment and want to change for DVD.
It is even easier in Edius 5 because it is labled DVD.

You stated that you have edius 5.0. You need to update to 5.1 and then update to edius 5.51 fopr the latest version of Edius 5.
You have to do it in that order.

its done resolve the proplem

i tried to print to file AVI and import it to new project
after that i can print to dvd
but i need to do print to dvd from orginal project

I don't understand the problem. If you change the preset (as I have shown ) in the original project, you will have an interlaced project ready for PAL 16x9 DVD.
The burn to disc selection should not be greyed out and you should be able to burn a DVD.
