That's awesome. I love it. I'm showing it to a few of my FCP friends that are so unproductive.

I do edius training at TV stations and would love to use this as an introduction to the class if you do mind me copying it. Would be a good way to wow the students before starting and showing those using other editors why they are going to love Edius.

Ohh, yess indeed! I nearly nut myself watching it. Alas, a future build must wait. But many thanks to Dave for laying down the specs. GV and Moore's Law FTW!

Thank you for your kind words, Andreas. I only hope the FCP fanboys will be just as kind. Otherwise, I might have to go into protective custody. (oopsie)

Thanks, Philip! Feel free to copy the video and use it in your presentation. Alternatively, you can PM me your email address and I can send you a version of the video sans the tourette outburst at the end. I admit I can be a bit of a pottymouth and it might offend people... But hey, why don't I just upload a "clean" version of the video and you can choose which one you want to run with. :-)

                    All the best.

Thank you for your vote of confidence, O Masked One! Much as that would be awesome beyond comprehension, I'm almost completely certain GV's legal department will have a conniption over it. Not to mention, there's a copyright claim over the music I used (Grieg's "In the hall of the Mountain King") and although youtube hasn't issued a copyright takedown, it might be better to tread lightly. I will, however repost the video without the "gargling" bit.

                      Cheers!

Not Shure about 24 cores, but we have 16 (HT is active) and this works great with adorage and edius 6.03. be shure that you have the newest patch of adorage installed, because we run in troubles with the older 6.02 too. Adorage fix this problem very fast. Mr. Burckhardt from Adorage get this done in less than one day !

Vitascene and Vitascene 2 also works great with 16 cores.
And Mercali2 is realy Speedy on our HP Workstations.

                                Ciao
