After reading some of the bad press on 4.50c, I was reluctant to take the plunge; however, curiousity got the best of me and here's what happened on my old P4 3.2, Storm sys.
Simply Great and easy upgrade, produced and 45 minute boat trip (Miami Vice style) , with TMP and mp3 fils on time line. Burned to DVD using the new program at 16:9 . As I always do, stumb;ed through the new program never reading the manual and still made my first DVD with it the first time.
Only problem was a crash, during the editing, but i can't remember what I was doing at the time. I think I was using Xplode Pro trans. and had forgotten to fix the FXConfig. I had been using several different dll's in the stage folder to get real time back and got confused on which ones where the ones that worked so I went back to the software renderer and thing worked OK after that.
I like the new look, just one anoyance is when I reduced the size of the two "record and playback" monitors, I lost the "in or out " buttons located below either side of the monitors. They only shows up if I stretch the monitors the full width of the screen.
And as usual, I now shall read the manual.
Cheers
