  • I'd like to create a videoclip with the movement earth.

    Hi,
I'd like to create a short 15-20 sec. videoclip. It should be a logo of my films of adventure travels. I'd like to use the movement earth, I use Edius 4 (HD 16:9) and Xplode Pro. But my Xplode Pro doesn't work fine with Edius 4. I cannot use it. Can you tell me with what program I can make it? I need a very easy program as Xplode Pro.
    Thanks

Yah, Xplode will only work with DV projects.

Are you looking for a globe transition or a rotating earth? Check out Google Earth Pro for the latter. Pretty neat!

After Effects - tooo simple - just download a surface map of the Earth or the Moon or Jupiter ..... and create a sphere, keyframe to rotate - perfect!

Thanks for your suggestions. One year ago I have used BLUFFTITLER but I don't remember inside there is a globe.
I am looking for a rotating earth.

This thread on the AVS forum might give you some ideas on a rotating earth. They use a free program called Blender. Trouble is, it's not simple to use.

I export an avi file from Blender to use in Edius.

If it fits your needs, the results are spectacular.

Thanks to Colin Levy of Peerless Productions , I have a blender file that we might be able to edit so that everyone that made their own Fox style intro/logo can make their own Universal style logo. Attached are the zip files. Unzip the files into a directory and open the .blend file with...

If you have a legally owned copy of blufftitler, you can access the gallery where you can download already scenes like these:

There are a few like the one you need. Also, you can upgrade for free to the newest version and you can render in HD resolutions.

                      Cheers

Can you tell me in which volume are the roating earth's? I'd like to know the software to make the clips. Is there a demo version of that software?
                          thanks

I did a quick search in the Juicer 3 software and came up with about 80 different instances of rotating earths in just about every type view you might want. My favorite ones are probably on Jumpback v4 High Impact
