Thank you, I have downloaded imgburn and will try that.
The image file failed after 7 hours as I did not have 2x space on C: so repeating trial on D: if I had known this before I started ........well I won't forget it now.

Why does BD creation not work from Edius direct? Is it because my PC is 2 years old? Or is it something I am not setting correctly.
    Thanks
    Pauline

      BD

Made the image folder, selected the file in stream and wrote that to BD using imgburn. Disk verified but will not play.
Did I select the wrong file? It was the only large one ie 7GB.

          BD writing

Thanks for that Dave, it worked a treat and made a good disk.

Earlier on today after 2 disasters I thought I better check that the BD drive was working and put in a commercial film BD. I got a message asking to update the AAC? after this the 1st disk I had made direct from Edius worked! But the disk made by writing the folder in imgburn looks better.

          Thanks for all the help.

That doesn't make any sense, the encoded video data is the same.

You system required an update to the audio MPEG4 system.

IMGBURN does produce better discs and I would advise using that rather than Edius.

If you find that new Blu-ray discs are still giving you problems then check that you have the up to date firmware in your PC burner and also in your playback device.

                Lets try this again.
I would like to burn (burn to disc) a disc with this Title Page only.
                print to screen 1.jpg
I have a program with 14 chapters and it comes up with a second page with all the chapter stops.
                print to screen 2.jpg
How can I get rid of this page?
I want to go direct from the first Title Page to playing the movie, without having to look at the chapter page.

Any suggestions? Or is this in fact possible?

did you tick "no chapter buttons"?
did you tick "no chapter menu"?

I know the above is "upside down thinking", usually you tick something if you want it and untick it if you don't
