  • after effects bridge in edius 6

    Hi

    I'm struggling to understand how to use after effects plug in in edius 6.

    do I need to have after effects loaded on my system, will anyone be kind enough guide me please.

    Yes, you need AE on your system.
    You can then point to the AE Effects folder within the E6 Bridge.

    Don't expect miracles, some effects do not work!

      No you don't need after effects on your system for sapphire, diggieffects, magic bullet looks as we have worked with the manufacturers for serialization.

      The only plugin which needs a host other then EDIUS is FEC but that does not have to be AE .

      Functionity of the plugins is the same in EDIus with or without AE installed.

      Hope I have given enough info to clear this misunderstanding
