                    follow these exact steps

                    1. start a new project called Test

                    2. capture a short clip

                    3. save and exit Edius

                    4. use windows explorer to delete the clip you just captured

                    5. open Edius and open Test

                    6. since there really is a missing file, does the resore dialogue work now?

is it possible that it is running behind offline clip window? try again and this time drag the offline clip window to a different desktop position, then click the clip resoration....

                        do you see it now?

Anyone know that is there any windows shortcut key to move the window use keyboard not use mouse.

in your first post you said:
Inside "Find offline clip" dialog, when I click "Open the clip restoration dialog"

so I assumed you do see the initial missing file popup window????

did your PC ever use dual monitors?
