  • Language of EDIUS??

Maybe its an easy one, but i havent found any solution so far...i know that some programes like AE let me choose different languages(when i choose the .exe file to open, i can find japanese, english, french?...) and i am a little bored to have the german EDIUS 4.51c version in german here...!
(Great you did it, but better for me and my questions to use it in eglish too..!)

So can i start an "english"-version somehow?
Or is it "set" to german when i install/update it on a machine with german XP?(shouldnt be related to the OS, but i cant find the solution...any help?)
    Edius 6.52
    Windows 7-64bit
    8GB RAM
    Intel Core I5, [email protected],40GHz

    See the feature request ...

In the Dutch part of Belgium, with 4.51c the interface combines English, French and Dutch. (same error as before)

Old Hans has the recipe for this.
      Very detailed

I don't know if you visit the German forum but he is also active there.

Hans tips work fine indeed ... but not in Belgium.

So please do vote on the feature request to be able to install without an "automatic localize".

for a contiune english Edius, if you can not live with settings i.e. "English (USA) or English (UK) you need rename folders.
(rename always better than delete *g*)

this works for most from the User Interface...

sad, but true.... if you have first install with the i.e. german [or french etc.]language....
imho, the "unclean written" CtsGuiSelector have no potency over the [at this time already] translated shortcuts-collumn "Assigment"
only the left collumn "Operation" roll back to english.... look at the picture...to the left and right collumn

maybe a new install, on a fresh system [without any edius-things in the registry]
          + renamed "Localice-Folder"
+ Start>control panel>Regional and language options> regional options tab> ENGLISH (US) ... for the install time
could result in a "pure" english ©Jedius ....... by the next "new install, I will give him a try......
Apparently the same holds true here - rename the Localize folder

But Peter is in Germany. :)

Bart zet windows gewoon in het Engels.
Ik snap niets van windows in het Nederlands. Jak....:)

Windows in Dutch => family reasons => I'm not the only user ... :-)

By the way => is it possible to swap a Dutch Win XP to an English Win XP?
              If yes, how?

                DUAL boot.
One for the family in Dutch and your very own xp in English second boot.
I think that would work best.

That's more a question for Microsoft - I don't know if you can (for free).
