  • Just installed edius 6 and lost my NX canopus card functions

Hi guys, I can no longer see my canopus nx card after installing 6 over 5.

Should I reinstall card hardware or is there a strict order how I should do this, any help would be great. thanks

The NX drivers for Edius 6 are not available yet. There are many posts on this subject already if you want to find out more.

The latest word (out of Germany) is that they should be out in June.

I do appreciate the support from GV, thanks for getting back to me. I do need the nx card to work with v6 however knowing that its next month is a relief, thanks.

It is a very well know problem and I am quite surprized that you installed E6 without checking on this forum for issues first, they have been well posted over the last few months.

              A moral to be learned.

whatever mate, whats done is done, all other versions supported the card so I just thought it was a given. You never stop learning buddy.

Can't blame you for that, it should have been a given.

It's always a good solution to produce a security image before installing a new software!
