  • CanopusHQ codec problem

    Hi guys,
I've recently updated my Edius version to 4.51c, and my HDV clips (1080/50i) - after rendering - are not being played properly in windows media player - they flicker. In Edius everything looks great. There is no problem when i convert them to progressive format, or full HD resolution (they get bigger though). Am i having a problem with overlay in my system? Regards.

What're your settings for Windows media player's Video Performance?

(ie. Tools>Options>Performance>Advanced (down the bottom) )

Should be ok - I might suggest trying the DirectX acceleration. Also, are you running EDIUS in the background while watching stuff in WMP? This will almost certainly cause some problems with overlay.
