Do all cameras in a multicam project have to be in the same resolution? I've tried 3 clips two at 1440x1080i and one at 1920X1080i the timeline plays ok until I add the last one then it's all stuttery, if I have three 1440x1080i it plays ok, it doesn't seem to matter whether the project is set to 1440 or 1920, I ask this because I intend to do a 3 camera project the main camera (eX1) can be set to any resolution, a Canon XH-A1 at 1440 and a Panasonic SD700 which is 1920 can't be changed, I thought I might be able to mix them on the multicam but it doesn't seem to work or my computer is not fast enough, any advise please?

Your computer isn't fast enough. Just convert them to HQ and then it will play fine I think. I have much the same problem with my Quad core and just convert to HQ. Saving up for a Sandy Bridge !!!!
