Edius 5.1 Freeze during cinegy playback

Hi,

We are using an Edius 5.1 in our office, and whenever we tried to playback an mpg-2 file encoded with cinegy, either from the bin window or from timeline or from the thumbnail window of file import, the program shuts down, and windows gives error report for Edius.exe with module "csemvd.dll" problem

is anyone familiar with this ?

First I would try and upgrade to 5.51. It is free.
