Most of my Exports are HQ. I have a preset that I hit that automatically selects the HQ exporter and the checkbox for in and out. Pretty easy.
For other types of outs I have to do it manually.

Enough from me.
Best

Use N to delite immediately a part of a clip beforewhere you wana do the cut, and use M to delite immediately a part of a clip after where you wana do the the cut. C to split a clip.

It doesn't, but if you want the action you just described, you should be using N not C. Try N, Alt N, M Alt M (see their functions) and your editing will speed up.

Insert Cut Point behavior change?
With EDIUS 5, inserting a cut point (C key) would insert the cut and then select the clip before the cut, making it easy to delete this immediately. Now it seems to delete the clip AFTER the cut (the raw footage I haven't gotten to yet). I played with all the settings and I can't find how to revert the original behavior. Any suggestions?Tags: None
