OK, I captured a DVD ın edius with DISCapture. I captured the DVD by chapters so I have 17 mp2 files ın my hard disc. I imported them to the bin. But when I open them, first 25 seconds or so are smooth but after 25 sec only a green screen comes out and edius cannot read the video. İt gives this error: playback stopped! Does anyone know if it's related to a decoder or something? Note that first 25 seconds or so is as it should be.

By the way, I didn't use segment encoding or reconstructing files... I don't know what does it do? İs there a way to capture from DVD to DV loseless avi?Or I have to put them on timeline and export them?

I usually capture and export avi file, without playing the captured file in timeline.
Every time I play the captured file in time line Edius hung up.
After avi export, delete the capture file and replace with exported avi file.
that's how I do it when I capture for DVD disc.

Thanks, I'll try that. It seems to me exporting is the only way.
By the way, I came to Oshawa once. I had a polish friend there. It felt like a nice and quiet suburb. Of course I prefer montreal in which I lived for 4 years. You are from Oshawa, Ontario right?
