  • Ejecting External Drive Stops Capture

When I eject an external drive from my computer, the capture in EDIUS 6 stops. Is there anyway to prevent this?

for now I don't think you can prevent it.
Even run other program in the background can cause the capture to stop too.
    Maybe in the future !

Nothing else stops it. I can even transcode and burn disks with Encore or export from AE and it doesn't bother the capture.

This is likely to be Windows resource related, possibly even how your hard drives are configured and what controllers are looking after them.

It is not something I would do FWIW.
