Could you please post your system specs in your signature. It helps immensely knowing what you, or anyone has, before answering a question.
In general, 60p requires a little more umph to process. Most AVCHD is in the 17-24mbs data rate. 60p is 28mbs.
You may have seen that from someone with an underpowered system.Jerry
