Surrender your Edius 5x Dongle when Upgrading

Hi Guys

Is this correct?

I have just been asked to contact customers who purchased the upgrade to 6 and get them to surrender their 5x dongles.... if this is the case it was not made clear in the promotional material we recieved with the upgrade requirements. Have I misslead my customers.

@Steve our suppliers are following the request back through the chain I will keep you posted once they have a reply.

@Dave sorry for the emotive language....surrender!

My concern was that I had missed some fine print and put folk in the wrong... in reality most will not install for a while at least and the option to go back is always good to have.

All sorted... it seems like the request may have been misinterpreted and incorrectly passed on to us.... So there is 100% no requirement to return, submit or surrender previous version dongles upon upgrade to 6. Appologies if I have caused any confusion.
