  • 4.5c DVD Problem

I find that when I try to create a DVD with 4.5c it seems to work fine, but the DVD will not run. I get a disk error. I am burning the disk using a Pioneer AO5 with DVD-R. The blank media works fine with the same media burned from Adobe Encore 2.

Are you using a software DVD player on your PC, or a set-top DVD player?

Please check the video bitrate being used to export the DVD - I've noticed that if it's a smaller project, the auto-bitrate calculator sets it to 9100Mbps which won't probably play out on older DVD players.

Consider unchecking the automatic setting and then reduce the video bitrate to something around 6000-8000.

If you are unsure on how to do this, check out the "How To" on DVD export at http://ediustraining.grassvalley.com

        DVD Bit rate issue

Thanks for the info. A change in the bit rate solved the problem
