Actually, this has changed for the moment, with the 4.51c update now available - you need some form of EDIUS v4 on the system.

So with that said, all you do is purchase EDIUS Pro/Broadcast v4 and then download and install the latest update. That's all you need.

The price to upgrade hasn't changed either...so you're essentially leaping ahead an entire generation for the same upgrade price.

To upgrade, I uninstalled 4.24 from my system and then installed 4.51 from scratch. After I opened 4.51 I found (to my pleasent surprise) that all my settings were still intact.

I haven't installed 4.51c yet, but will probably do so later (the first zipped file I downloaded was "corrupt" according to Winzip).

    Upgrading 3.6 to 4.5

In the future if I decide to upgrade from 3.6 to 4.5 how will this occur and how much will the upgrade be. I do not want to have to upgrade to 4.0 then to 4.5 there will be a direct upgrade path shortly, correct??
    Thanks Chris
