  • I Have To Say This

    Thank you Grass Valley.

Thank you for the solid product you've given me in the past (even with it's flaws... Edius NX has been like a rock for me) and thanks for this new release. I keep finding improvements in the software from previous versions and know the flaws will be fixed. (I'm especially tickled at the moment because, with the advent of the new DirectX display improvements... I have finally gotten Edius and the NX board to operate across the 3 displays of my edit system and it's nice).

    So thanks.

BUT DON'T WORRY!... I'll be back tomorrow with plenty more suggestions!

    Thanks again.
    Sincerely,

    Mike Truly

    I have to agree

Edius 4.51 is a 500% improvement to my workflow, I would not go back to 4.03 or any other version if you pointed a gun

Anton, I have to say this: if you are satisfied then it is like a 'seal of quality' for v4.51.

          Hi,

          Yes it's a big improvement over 4.24!
No problems for now even with older projects.

            few questions for Stormdave.
            1. how you can put informations about your computers in every message. Is it automatic process?
            2. As I look, you have macintosh with xeon cpu's and with two OSes? Does XP read all 9GB of RAM and all of CPUs?

              Thanks again GV!

Just installed the NX and 4.51c on the new machine. Everything went smooth as silk.

Haven't done any heavy lifting with 4.51 yet, but I already like the new interface, especially the single taskbar icon - finally!

Batch export is another thing that I have missed in Edius, so it's awesome to see it added as well.

Thanks for the improvements, GV, and thanks to those in San Jose who worked hard to get the server back online.

Now...let's start talking about Version 5!

If you go into your CP (Control Panel) you can create a signature that will show everytime you post :)

                    Thanks for help.
I'm testing new edius 4,51c on win-vista. Until now, everything (mostly) works fine. I had one freezing of edius, but I think becouse small system memory, only 2 GB,and I used ,that time, max RT buffer size. Probably, I must set buffer size to 128mb,until increasing system memory to 4GB,(perhaps more).

The increased buffer setting choice is a great improvement. So far all fine and old projects load with no problems.

Running EDIUS Pro/EDIUS Broadcast is neither endorsed, nor supported.

You're on your own if you do this.
