edius 4.51 chrashes

I've also updated to edius 4.51. Untill now i have worked great with edius.
But today .....!!!!! When i open an edius project ( version 4.03 ) edius disappears, when I hit a button on my keyboard ot jog-shuttle. My system is
fine and I,ve bin a edius user from the beginning, but now i,m a little
disappointing about this update. What is wrong !!!!
When i make a new ( 4.51 ) project everything looks fine.
I'm in a deadline with that 4.03 project but edius won't work at all.
this is the message when edius closes :

Do i have to go back to version 4.03

p.s can anyone tell me the difference between the dvstorm and NX.
and then I mean in picture quality, because untill now I love my stormcard

I'd probably suggest that since you're in a deadline and don't have a lot of time for diagnosis, that you roll back to 4.03 to finish your current job, and then do a fresh installation of 4.51 once you have some time.

i,ve allready have, but isnt a little disappointing that the 4.51 version
won't work because I waited for a long period to get the update.( like others )

btw i;m filming with sony DSR 400 DVCAM and dsr11 DVCAM so it isn't necessery for me to update, i'll stick with 4.03 because there is no time
to "play around". We'll have work to do here in Holland.

We'll be there too! EDIUS 4.51 working fine here, installed on top of 4.24.

Try turning off the waveform display if you've got it on.

I had a multicam from 4.24 and it kept crashing when I loaded into 4.51 and dragged the timeline marker. I disabled the waveform and no crash!

The waveforms are cached I believe so there could be problem letting the old waveform display make its way on the timeline.
