Zorro is correct - this isn't a bug - the nature of buffering goes against the idea of realtime audio level mixing.
When you make adjustments to your audio keyframe, you need to be hearing exactly what is currently being processed at any given instance. Buffering playback means that the RAM and CPU have already finish processing what you're currently seeing and hearing.

I don't see a buffer issue. Edius simply can't know if you are going to adjust the audio or not on the fly. So prefilling wouldn't make sense, imho.Leave a comment:

Buffer still drops low with audio mixer!
Hi I just installed, I had to download from the mirror site, all seems well. I hoped the buffer issues with the audio mixer would be fixed, for anyone not sure what I mean, when the mixer is open the frame buffer drops down to 5 or 6, any thoughts or solutions? I am hoping to get the Behringer fader unit, this makes a complex project very difficult to have the mixer open
