Tools / plugins to sync two videos?

I have a single video taken handheld of two different divers doing the same dive. I took a whack at using the layout engine to attempt to synchronize the video so I can watch the divers overlain on top of each other, but there's a significant amount of camera movement.

Are there tools I can use that will do something like edge tracking and perform the contortions on the video automatically?

Thanks from a newbie (and hoping his Ed6 upgrade comes soon, as his demo is giving out in 11 days, and apparently going back to Ed5 is a bad move...)!

Had a look at the video
Perhaps "Mercalli" from Prodad may help if placed on both clips, its a long shot
Mercalli comes with E6

Mercalli could be OK, but perhaps Corner Pinning might be useful, although Edius doesn't support this. There is a video tutorial here
