tried that... and here's the strange part

no matter how many times I try to uninstall the Canopus DV driver it completes the process and asks to reboot. But it never removes from the add/remove programs list!

when I tried to load the 3.61 drivers, it detected the newer version of the driver and aborted... arrgh

I will be downgrading to 4.24 and don't need HD anytime soon.

I made the mistake of upgrading to Edius 4 based on 4.24 functionality with my REXRT and didn't think a point upgrade would break my driver support.

    lame

    Ok,
You like your Rex, so do I. Was it working before 4.51? Just go back and it will work once again. Were you happy with Edius 4.24? Your talking about a piece of computer hardware designed in, I think 1996. 11 years in use in a computer is unheard of.(I still feel it was the best piece of hardware Canopus released).
So, please, cut em some slack.

I still have mine in my second machine. I really don't use it. Editing with
the NX and having HD output then going to the Rex is a big drop down the evolutionary scale. I am currently upgrading my second machine to
    HD, but with uncompressed capabilites.

It was mentioned in the sticky that this might happen. We were lucky that it still ran, for the most part, in 4.0. Be happy you were able to use it this long.
This is why I upgraded last year to the NX. I was not happy about it, but
the writing was on the wall.

I will try and get an answer for you, but I really do think that it's most likely going to be unsupported.

no luck here either... worked fine in 4.24

no love from GV for REXRT? Thanks for keeping it in the setup as that will surely add salt to the wound... :-(

    Same problem here with dvrex

I have tried all the above and can't get the REXRT to show up. Any other ideas?

    Drivers

I tried installing the drivers from 4.0, they didn't work! D RexEdit works fine and I would not like to mess with it because I use photoalbum in it. If nothing else I'll have to stay with 4.24! feltenvi

Another one would be to go to the device manager, delete the DVRex device. Restart your computer, and when it asks for a driver, click cancel....then run the setup again.

I'm currently install Edius 4.51 and looking at both DVStorm driver TXT file from both v4.51 and v4.24, both have the same 2.01h driver version for the DVStorm. I didn't check your RexRT but I'm assuming it the same too, but double check.

Okay try this if you what to; unzip Edius 4.24 in as C:\DLFiles\Edius4.24UP and ONLY install the drivers from Edius 4.24 driver folder and see if that works.

Try redoing the Driver Install by going into the Driver Folder and re-running Setup.exe and rebooting the system.

    DVRexRT

If you start the driver setup it comes up with a box and the first one listed is Drivers for DVRexRT. Check it out! They don't work! feltenvi

Do you mean the Canopus DV drivers? The RexRT is not in that list.

Or do you mean the RX-E1 folder? That's not for the Rex.
