Edius 3.62 Runtime Error!

Windows XP Pro SP2 via BootCamp on MacPro 8Core.

Description:
Launching Edius 3.62 after running AE7 produces the error:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!

abnormal program termination

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open an EDIUS project and edit.
2. Close EDIUS and open Adobe AE7
3. Edit with AE7 and close.
4. Open EDIUS.
5. Observe Runtime Library error.
6. Uninstall EDIUS.
7. Reinstall EDIUS.

another reason of runtime error

I had same error message another reason: corrupt quick titler file (roll style). that little file blocked my entire project, after hours i deleted it and now i'm free.

are you altering any of the Edius video files with AE while Edius is closed?
