  • Why does my Photohop file change in Edius?

I just recently finally got up to ver5. I am trying to retouch an image in the same way I used to do in ver4, but have a problem I can't figure out.

I am removing a wall outlet in the background of an interview. I export a psd from Edius, then in Photoshop CS3 make a layer that would clean it up. I delete the background layer (original image) leaving only the retouched part surrounded by transparency. When I bring that psd back into Edius though, the gamma has changed!
It really has nothing to do with the retouching though. If I take the Edius exported psd and do nothing with it but open it and save as another name in Photoshop, it is looks different on the timeline compared to the original still that never was opened in Photoshop. I hope that makes sense.
    Thanks for any input!

Check your White/Super-White setting in the Still Image settings.

Super White maps the full range of input to the full range of output
White maps the full range of input only to the IRE-legal range of output
