Is anyone using a omneon server for broadcast? If so how are you encoding the files to play out?

We are encoding files with Procoder, and they are rewrapped for Omneon before TXDell T1650, 8GB ram, SSD, Win 7, Edius 6.08+HDSpark, Vistitle -
Omneon is MPEG-2 IBP at 35mps for HD, in a QT6 wrapper. For SD, the rate is around 12mps. Audio is aiff, 16 bits, 48K.
I've heard lately that they will take XDcam HD 50 with a QT wrap.
I worked through a problem for a server in Europe. They never told me the server brand. I just made a a full QT, and it worked.

Hey Mike,
Talk to Porter at KRON. I think he uses Omneon for playback. He can spec it for you.
