  • Please help photos transition problem

I have edited videos with EDIUS for five months. There were no problem for all transitions. However, when I edited photos with transition yesterday, there were some addition lines cross the transition place. Please watch a 16 seconds video in the following and see if you know how to fix it. Thank you very much for your help in advance.

looks like you have a problem with quicktime player which is used by Edius to handle stills

install the latest version from www.apple.com/quicktime

        Thank you

        Hello Rusty & antonsvideo,

Thank you very much for your help. After installing the latest version of quicktime player, the problem seems to be fixed. However, when I tried to edit all photos the next day, the problem was still there. Then, I tried to reduce the size of photos from 1~1.5mb to around 500k, it didn't work, too. Please help!!!

your Asus video card would be my 1st path - basically you should be using Nvidia with edius and you wont go far wrong - get the foundations right and it will save you a lot of headache down the line

You could spend every waking hour trying to resolve this and still not get to the bottom of it - but my personal hunch is change yr video card to a middle of the road Nvidia one.

Transition problem @ vertical photo only

The photos transition problem is only at vertical direction photo. There is no problem at horizontal photo. Here is a sample video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vdqcskD2gY

              Please help. Thank you.

Also, in your project settings change the overscan from 3%
to 0. On one of the transistions I think I noticed a little overscan issue.
That won't fix your major problem.
Install the latest ati video card driver. At least give that a try.
