What video format?

Hi there - sorry if I'm not asking this question in the correct place but it has been a long time since I've been on the forum and a lot has changed. Anyway, I'm editing with DV Storm and want to put video onto my website. Can anyone please tell me what is the best format to change the .AVI file to and how is it best done? Thanks to all!

The most common formats are Windows Media Video (WMV), QuickTime (MOV), and Flash (FLV or SWF). All three can be embedded in the website, streamed or downloaded, and given the right encoding can be very good quality.

Windows Media Video and QuickTime also have optional server components that can provide additional functionality, such as adaptive video quality based on your connection speed and digital rights management to reduce or prevent unauthorized copying/saving of the content.
