What's wrong with the P5WDG2 WS Pro? It has worked great for me since
last October. I'm running a 2.93 extreme at 3.3 on this board. Just ordered a Asus P5k WS P35 chipset with support for the 45 nano chips and DDR2 1066 native. The WS has support for all of the new chips up to 1333fsb and 45 nano support as well. The P5K appears to be an updated version with 1 16x pci-e, 2 1x-pci-e, 1 pci-x, and 2 pci. The nice thing is the pci-x is on seperate controller from the pci-e. It is about $40 cheaper than the P5WDG2.
I don't know if it will work with the NX though. The NX express requires 2
pci-e 1x slots which this board has. I bought it to install the Adobe Production Premium CS3 suite and an Intensity Pro card. I will probably
    install Edius as Software only.

Can you find the P5K WS? As I said in an earlier post, it looks to be an updated version of P5WDG2 WS PRO.
If you need PCI-X, It might, let me repeat, it might fit your needs.
The 965 chipset is a proven chipset as is the 975.
The p35 chipset is new and I am taking a chance. But as I said,
I am putting a Decklink card in and not the NX. I will be running
            Edius as software only.
