That's good to hear, Mike.
Did you have it partitioned or anything special? What specs on the notebook?
Thanks!

On my Dell I have captured an hour of HQ HD footage to the system drive with no problems. :)

Using Edius I have captured Dv with no problem.
My notebook has 2 hard disk and I also have done HDV to HQ without any problems. (Hdv to HQ goes on the second internal disk.)

capturing to a notebook
I was wondering if anyone has had any success capturing footage to their internal notebook drive.
I have certainly done it with my Dell Inspiron E1705 using an external USB2.0 drive, but I'm curious if one could get away with setting up a separate partition on an internal 7200rpm drive like the Seagate Momentus?
I don't need heavy duty editing capability, just the ability to capture to the notebook with out having to break out the external drive. Ideally DV and maybe even DVCProHD using Adobe On Location.
