  • Edius 4 and dvx problem

Hello, my name is macchia I have a problem whit canopus dvx :

The pc configuration is : Mother board asus p5b, cpu intel E6600, vga Ati
1950pro, 2 gb ram team group, OS Windows xp professional sp 2. (this
configuration is perfectly compatible with the card dvx ).

when I launch the program edius pro 4, me appears the error message that
    I attach.

Over the card there are two led, a red one and one green that constantly
remains ignited, that red one seems to indicate an error hardware.

I have tested the card also on others two PC and the same error appears me.

    who succeeds to help me?

    Hi Macchia,

Have you contacted your local support office in Italy? It sounds like you may indeed have a fault with your EDIUS DVX hardware. They can assist you further.

They send me file "WinUpdater.EXE" (DVX-E1 firmware updater - 224k) file ver 1.1.0.0. This corrects problems with edius and xp. Its mystery to me how can firmware crash when 3-4 weeks was ok. After update things are ok.
